It is with great pleasure and excitement that we are serving as Co-Chairmen of A Night in Provence, a gala benefitting the Gaston LeNotre Scholarship Foundation. This elegant evening will transport you to the majestic countryside of Provence and will be held at River Oaks Country Club on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

This year we are delighted to have Jean Luc Royere as Honorary Chef. As Executive Chef at The Post Oak Hotel, Jean Luc oversees all aspects of The Post Oak’s food and beverage offerings, including the property’s multiple restaurants and banquet halls. Chef Royere has a vast breadth of culinary experience as a classically trained chef, as well as the distinction of being inducted to the renowned society of “Maîtres Cuisiniers de France” (Master Chef of France Association) in 2016 and “Academie Culinaire de France” in 2020. He has 15 years of experience working exclusively at Forbes Five-Star luxury properties across the country.

The Gaston LeNotre Scholarship Foundation awards scholarships to deserving Culinary Institute LeNotre students based upon financial need and professional merit. In addition to scholarships, the Foundation also provides seed capital to alumni seeking to start their own business locally. Since inception in 2001, the Foundation has provided over $1 million in scholarship money to over 500 qualifying students.

It is your generosity and support that sustains our mission, creating a life-changing experience for these individuals. We hope we can count on you to help us continue to offer students access to first-class culinary training by being a part of A Night in Provence. Please return the enclosed form by December 23 or contact Marie Lenotre at or 713-358-5051 with any questions. Your support will help ensure that deserving students have the opportunity to train as a future chef in this great culinary city.

Merci beaucoup!
